Book Review - Ebook - The Healthy Me Team - Netta Gerad

Title:  The Healthy Me Team

Author:  Netta Gerad

Review:  I think that the rhymes are a bit of a stretch for most of this book.  I realize it is written for children, but I had a hard time reading it to my kids.  It doesn't flow well as you read and I felt like I was fighting to keep the flow going as I read.  My kids were interested in the little creatures, but didn't understand why they would fight with each other.  They thought that was a bi strange.

I really don't like reading about battles, even between made up thing.  I do want my kids to eat healthy and skip on the sugar as much as possible but I am not sure it this story will help that fight.  It is an interesting idea that might just need a few fixes to make it better for kids and for parents to read outloud.  Read outlouds need a good flow to keep the reader and the those listening interested - this is a bit long and did not keep my kids attention well.  So I rate this book 3 -
