Title: The Duke Is But a Dream (Debutante Diaries #2)
Author: Anna Bennett
Stars: 4
Review:
A very pleasant historical romance that will keep your interest from beginning to end. A young lady, while dressed as she should not be and where she should not be, received a very hard bump on the head. It not only renders her unconscious but also causes her to lose her memory. Through trial and tribulations she becomes enamored with the hero who rescued her and is maintaining her in his home that he shares with his sister. While her background is open to speculation her deepening love for her rescuer is not and as it blossoms will her troubled hero return the love she is offering.
I have rated this book 4 stars and would recommend it if you enjoy historical romance novels.
I received an ARC from Netgalley for my unbiased review. Thank you Frank for your review.

Anna Bennett started swiping romances from her mom’s bookshelf as a teenager and decided historicals (with their balls, dukes, and gowns) were the best. So, when she had the chance to spend a semester in London she packed her bags—and promptly fell in love with the city, its history, and its pubs. She dreamed of writing romance, but somehow ended up a software analyst instead.
Fortunately, a few years and a few careers later, Anna found her way back to writing the stories she loves and won the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart® for Regency Historical Romance. She lives in Maryland with her husband and three children, who try valiantly not to roll their eyes whenever she quotes Jane Austen. Her weaknesses include reality TV, cute shoes, and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.
