Title: The Last Detective
Author: Peter Lovesey
Stars: 4 Stars out of 5
Review:
I
was completely enchanted with this book and the manner in which the
story was told. It was laid out in different sections from different
characters viewpoint. I found the main character to be larger than life
and was rooting for him even when he was wrong or at least appeared to
be wrong. He is a man of principals but able to admit when he he has
made a mistake. I found myself at the end of the story wanting to see
the next chapter in his life unfold.
I have given this a 4 star rating. I would recommend it to any reader who enjoys a British murder mystery.
I received this book from Netgalley for my unbiased review.
