Book Review - Aching for Marvin - Mehry Inett

Title:      Aching for Marvin

Author:  Mehry Inett

Review:  This is a short story that is fast paced and had its funny moments.  The idea of trying to rekindle a relationship with your kids and mother in-law along is laughable and then the little gift her mother in-law tosses her had me laughing.

The rest of the story was a bit sappy.  The sex scenes were overdone and could have been better written or left to the imagination of the reader.  This isn’t really my thing.  I enjoy romance and even a well written sex scene, but this was neither of those.

If  you enjoy silly short stories and written sex for sex sake then maybe you will enjoy this little story.

Synopsis:  Christa Vanderveldt is desperate to rekindle her ten-year marriage – and it needs a flamethrower, not a match. A vacation at a five-star resort is just the thing she needs to distract hot-shot husband Miles from his financial affairs. Her brand new wardrobe and buffed, bikini-ready body should provide enough fuel to make him take a good, hard look at her own assets.

But Christa hasn't counted on her mother-in-law joining them – supposedly to look after their three children. Yet Grandma Vanderveldt is not the easiest holiday companion and Christa can't help feeling her grand seduction won't quite go to plan.

And she hasn't even met Marvin yet.

Aching for Marvin is a light-hearted romance by erotic author Mehry Inett. The 11,000 word novella features some graphic scenes and is intended to be read by adults only.
