Review:   Kate White's book, The Wrong Man, starts off with Kit Finn looking for a little excitement in her life when she meets a man, Matt Healy, while on vacation that seems to push all the right buttons. When she decides to see him again in NYC, where the both live, everything takes a turn in the wrong direction. However when Matt Healy opens his door to Kit she finds it is not the same man she met in the Florida Keys.

Soon her life is turned upside down with the death of two people, her apartment being ransacked and she has no idea who would want to give her the wrong identity.

The Wrong man is a suspense filled psychological thriller that leaves the reader in so many twist and turns but if the reader stays the courses they will figure out what is going on before Kit does. 

Their were many times I wanted to yell at Kit for not going to the police or moving in the other direction and I understand the author wanted to give readers a woman who could take care of herself but she missed the boat on having her use her brain and call for help when needed.

The Wrong Man will keep the readers hooked from page 1 -322 until the reader discovers the truth.

Book Review - Organized for Murder - Ritter Ames

Title:  Organized for Murder

Author: Ritter Ames

Review:  This was a fun no brainer book.  It is what I would call light reading.  You can read for a while and then put it down and go back to it again and not miss a beat.  The story starts out with Kate McKenzie, an organizer.  She organizes wealthy people and also teaches classes at the book store of her friend. 

Kate is a young mother of 6 year old twin girls and married to a ex football player turned sportscaster for the local T V station.  Kate is organized to a fault and what I love is “her” tips appear throughout the book so the reader can become organized too!!!

As the story opens Kate is visiting with a rather eccentric older woman who is extremely wealthy.  She married into wealth after having five other husbands but this one, Daniel, was the one with the big house and money and they loved traveling and seeing the world and collecting until Daniel died and now things needed to be organized to know exactly what she had. 

 “Kate stiffened on the white on white Victorian sofa and hoped her smile didn’t look like a grimace.  She again swatted the irritating peacock feather and gilt streaked twig arrangement that invaded the personal space around her left shoulder.  Where had common sense fled what she agreed to work sight unseen in this procurement madhouse?”

Well in the end she doesn’t even get the chance to start when the mistress of the house is found murdered!!!!!  Whodunit??? Her husband's children, the grandchildren, the housekeeper or the perhaps an ex-husband?????

The book moves quickly keeping you interested, the character development is fun, all of Kate's helpers just add humor to the story and her family makes the whole thing fun!!

All in all a great read!  I give this book four stars!  I received this book as a gift from my daughter.

Book Review - Covert Evidence - Rachel Grant

Review:
Cressida Porter is dying for validation in her professional life after she hits a bump in the road. However when her dreams turn into a nightmare as she became a unwitting courier for a terrorist network. Unable to speak the language as violence happens all around her she trust a man who not only speaks the language but he is also a security expert who happens to work for her best friends company.

Ian Boyd mission is clean follow the courier, identify terrorist and get the microchip before it fall into enemy hand. However he didn’t expect Cressida Porter to be that courier. She awaken feelings he never though he would have proving to be extremely dangerous.

Covert Evidence is a mystery that is also current with the conflicts in the Middle Eastern countries. Where the past and future are always at the fore front of the conflict. The beginning of the book had a really good pace but soon gets bogged down with the sexual desires of both characters almost bring the flow to a halt. I enjoyed the banter between Ian and Cressida but at the same times the sex scenes seem to take over the middle of the book and the adventure took back stead.

Rachel Grant pulls in characters from her other Evidence books and to be honest if you haven’t read her other books you will not get lost but it again slows the story down when the pace needed an uptake.

Covert Evidence is a solid read intelligent read that romantic suspense readers will love.

Book Review - 15 Minutes to Live - Phoef Sutton

Title:  15 Minutes to Live

Author:  Phoef Sutton

Review:  I found this story to be very interesting and enjoyed it very much. It did however remind me of a movie I had seen with the difference being the movie was a love story and the book is a murder mystery. It seemed to have left a couple of murders unsolved for my satisfaction. That said it did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the story.

I have rated it four stars and would recommend it to anyone looking for a different twist to their mysteries.
