Review:
The author Jennifer Chase create a police procedural story readers are able to enjoy from beginning to the end.  The story is told from Kaite Point of View. The story will be well paced and than something happens not sure how to explain it other than a scene must have been written and put in later one because it suddenly comes to a stop.  Once again the story starts to have a great pace and again it has another odd stop.
While it is a good read it isn't perfect but worth a summer read to get away from the crazy of kids and life.

Review:
Having read the other books in the Linear Tactical series though Kindle Unlimited I was up to date on the characters and different story lines.  Readers new to this series should go back to the first two books to understand who Ghost is and why he is different.
Ghost is the best of the series with action, a really fast pace story that will have readers hooked until the last page wondering who is controlling Grace and the other "Dead Men".
The story has the ability to have readers really connect with Grace and her past, while giving romance readers the steamy stories they love.
Janie Crouch gives readers action pack gun battles, romance and alpha men and awkward women who readers will love.

Review:
You Life Is Mine is your average typical psychological thriller. The story isn't wow but it isn't bad either.  The story just exist with like able characters and a average story line that readers who enjoy this type of thriller will be able to see the predictability of the the story.  The characters do not stand out as memorable.  The story moves slowly giving readers a chance to decided to stop readers or finish the book in hopes of twist they do not see coming. Unfortunately the story doesn't give readers the twist they are hoping for leaving the bored.

Dead Inside is a dark that the author is able to use her former employment as a way to direct the story.  It isn't a pretty story in fact at times the story is uncomfortable to read. Just like life Painful at times and almost unbearably.
Domestic abuse isn't a easy topic add in murder and mystery as a start a new series let alone a duet novel isn't easy but Noelle Holten does a great job.

I haven't read much by Rachel Lynch and it always takes some time to get into a new author let alone jumping into book 5.
After catching up with the different characters and personalities the story moves quickly with different locations as the story plays out quickly as reader are bought into a world of murder that Di Kelly is trying to follow. Readers follow along as DI Kelly is finding clues, talking to everyone and creating a world that readers will be able to connect with.

The story is slow moving for being only 256 pages but the author is able to fill in details to bring the world she created to life.  The author was able to give readers the idea that there is more to Nick and Catherine than just this story.

Right Now...
We will be out of school in a few days and it will me Mommy 24 hours a day 7 days week.  Lots of sun, swimming and adventures hiking in the mountains in the north at least I hope.

So much is happening that my brain can't seem to wrap around everything.  I plan on having reviews posted almost every day whether it is personal, or reviews on food, books, movies and more.

Thank you to everyone who follows and comments on the book review blog.  I love reading and it wasn't until my brother pointed out how amazing it is that a woman with Severe Visual dyslexia and Dysgraphia is able to review books.  I love reading and I might not be able to picture the scenes the authors create. I am however able to get lost in the written word find the adventures, romance, suspense, and the amazing worlds that await me.  

When someone says you can't because you have a disabilities I say "Do it! Try it! After all you might find a hidden adventuress you didn't know about."
I refuse to allow anything to stop me from finding who I am and where I am suppose to be.

Marian Lanouette is able to have readers follow a story without realizing what they believe is right is leading them in the wrong direction.  The work of Jake Carrington is full of mystery adventures and suspense that will have readers excited to start with book one or waiting for the next in the series.

The characters are well developed and readers of the series will loved this addition to the series and those just starting the series will take a little longer to find what they might be looking for in Jake Carrington.

The author pulls together all the details other authors, investigator, researchers into this one book.  Kevin Sullivan takes all the researchers, investigators, personal accounts, newspaper stories and pulls readers into a story that at times will read like a textbook and other times reads like a true crimes novel.  The story bring the murders of different women and young girls that Ted Bundy murdered as well as the ones he refused to admit to killing to the light of day.
Each woman and young girls story is investigated though the authors eyes refusing to miss a single link in each and ever murdered victims. The author puts a name with the murdered victims so that the world doesn't forget these women.
While with current technology you can see how he would have been caught faster it realizing investigators at the time were working as hard as the could to find this charming mysterious killer.
Its crazy to think how he escaped and was able to keep on killing.  
The author doesn't sugar coat anything he bring sit out even depressing detail.

Perfect beach read just over 100 pages.

This is a very short read for a man who transformed diplomacy in a cold war area.  Henry Kissinger gives a insight into the world he created during a time of political unrest.  Kissinger has an amazing understand of history and how the world painted him in history books.
The book is written as though it is a interview with topics and questions he answers and reflect on. 
Henry Kissinger is a man of man talents and at the time he was able to use those abilities to create and direct a world or guide the world as he saw it needed to be.
Winston Lord was very open and honest at the beginning of the book allow readers to know what he went though interview the 90 + year old the great Henry Kissinger.  This is a simple short oral report on the history of the many events Kissinger to part in.

Book Review: Turning Secrets (Stonechild and Rouleau Mystery #6) by Brenda Chapman

Review:
Although this is book 6 in a series it is the first one I have read. I found the storyline to be solid and easy to follow. A mystery which involves good old fashioned policing and grinding techniques. It involves underage prostitution and trafficking of young women. I think it will keep the readers interested until the final chapter.

I have rated this book 4 stars.

I'm an Ottawa author with 18 published novels in the mystery genre, both adult and YA. Review:
This is the first time I have read a book by Mary-Jane Riley. The author uses different view points from different characters in the story.  Readers will not be trusting any of the characters even Ale as the story moves forward. Page after page will have readers questioning who is who.  The author uses twist and turns to confusing readers. Readers will end the story having it all tied up in a nice little bow.

It was about a gang of children who had adventures on mysterious islands, but she soon realised Enid Blyton had cornered that particular market. So she wrote about the Wild West instead. When she grew up she had to earn a living, and became a BBC radio talk show presenter and journalist. She has covered many life-affirming stories, but also some of the darkest events of the past two decades.
