Book Review Gold Street by Kathy T Kale

Gold Street
Title: Gold Street

Author: Kathy T. Kale

Stars: 4 1\2

Review:
An excellent conspiracy mystery that very much reminded me of the last election. The major difference being that Bernie was not a third-party candidate and was not murdered. It involved all of the major alphabets of the federal government as well as banks, wall street, and three foreign governments. Overall it was a great story that was well told.

I have rated this book 4.5 stars.

I obtained this book from Amazon in Kindle format.

Synopsis:
Incensed by an economic policy that allows banks to create money out of nothing and collect undeserved interest on it, twenty-four year old Tyler Madison is on a mission to expose the clandestine operations of the U.S. Central Bank. After he is injured in a suspicious road accident, his reclusive mother steps out and realizes his life is in danger, and the good guys and bad guys are not who they appear to be. When Tyler teams up with an aspiring presidential candidate, dark forces gather to shut them up.

About The Author:
Kathy T. Kale
Although I always wanted to be a writer, I ended up with a PhD in toxicology and did postdoctoral research in infectious immunology. I began writing when I moved to Kenya, where I worked as a freelance science editor and writer. I was heavily influenced by the poverty and corruption in the country and my novels are a mixture of science, politics, and the misuse of power. I studied creative writing at Humber College and the University of Iowa, and screen writing at Indian River State College. My first novel won a Royal Palm Literary Award in 2004. Originally from Toronto, I now live in warm, sunny Florida. I've written three novels: 'Black Death in a New Age,' 'Gold Street,' and 'Harm,' and I'm hard at work on my fourth. I am a member of the Mystery Writers of America.
