I love this book! The prose is so intimate and
raw that I found myself wondering, am I reading someone's diary?!! But no, it
springs from the heart and mind of writer, Carly M. Duncan. And the theme is so
important for us all to ponder- in the face of heartbreak and unyielding
challenge, how do we create a beautiful life for ourselves? Kate, the fearless
protagonist, overcomes such ties that bind and in so doing, teaches a valuable
lesson... keep moving forward.

A great page turner. This book is a fast read
because the reader, just like the protagonist Kate, is yearning for answers. It
keeps you engaged and desperately wanting to know what happens next. Kate is a
wonderful, thought-out character. She is real and insecure, but strong and
confident all at the same time. If you want to get lost in a great summer
novel, this is your book!
