Review:
Tucker McBride has turned his weary back away from his military career after a stint in the Washington DC area. Recently arrived, back in Texas, he is attempting to determine his destination when a chance meeting with a beautiful lady, who has broken down, on a desolate country road sets his course. The path to true happiness is often fraught with stumbling blocks and obstacles. Tucker has his fair share of both as he goes forth with his heart, mind and eye on his objective. Can he overcome these challenges and achieve his set goals? An entertaining read for the modern romance readers among us.

I have rated this book 4 stars.

Book Review: Copycat by Diane Saxon

Review:
This book is part of a series and while the author tries hard to catch readers up without taking to much time away from the main story readers jumping in might be still a little lost.
Once the story starts readers will find themselves in a thriller that will have readers wondering what is going on and where is this going but in the best of ways.  The characters are interesting enough but fall into the traditional police\Constable characters and do not move away from that box.
The find themselves watching as murder are happening unable to stop or tell the characters to run away.  The author is graphic and describe in detail what is happening to the point of painful.
In the end the book is a decent read for those who like mysteries with a little more gore.

Review:
Mat Osman uses his knowledge to bring his first book to life.  The author creates characters that might not be likable but if readers have siblings they will be able to connect with the lead characters desire to find the truth of what happen to his brother.
The list of characters makes for a duel identity that the characters is living and while it takes time for the action to happen readers will be willing to hang on because different characters that they will connect with.

Mathew David "Mat" Osman is an English musician, bass player and songwriter who co-founded the British rock band Suede. He and future Suede lead singer Brett Anderson met in Haywards Heath, England, where they played in garage bands before moving to London. He studied at the London School of Economics, where in 1989 he was awarded a BSc in Politics.

After Suede broke up in 2003, Osman provided music for television programs and became the London editor of the email magazine le cool. His work has also been published in British magazines and newspapers including The Guardian, The Independent and The Observer.

He returned to Suede when the band reformed in 2010. The band are currently writing and recording their ninth studio album.

Review:
This is the first in a series but it stars up as if readers have met the characters before.  The story works but it feels like things are missing or the story is in need of better editing. This reviewer is unsure of what is needed.
The story is interesting and flows quickly at times humors and other times head scratching wondering what I might have missed.  The scene doesn't quite fit in or at least it should have waiting maybe for another book.
When the author has Ashira reveal what is going on it is fast, quick and wishing the final battle lasted longer.

Joanna Schaffhausen is able to bring together a cast of characters that are fascinating and will have readers wondering if the story is partly true as the author drives the story with characters who pop off the pages.
The Villain is perfect for this story to the point readers will know who it is pretty quick. Yet the authors ability to tell a story is what drives the readers wondering what will happen.
The author uses her make people aware what happens in the past can and will effect you in the future.
