Irreparable Harm (Sasha McCandless Legal Thriller Book 1) by [Miller, Melissa F.]
Title: Irreparable Harm (A Sasha McCandless Novel)

Author: Melissa F Miller

Stars: 4.5 out of 5

Review:
This is an action packed action adventure/legal thriller all wrapped up in one spell binding story. The main character is a five foot, 97 pound, lawyer who is also trained in martial arts. When confronted with a dangerous situation she will take whatever action is necessary to protect herself. If you enjoy reading a story with a strong female heroine this should be high on your to be read list.

I have rated this book 4.5 stars.

I obtained this book from Amazon in Kindle format.

Synopsis:
There's an app for everything. Even evil.

Attorney Sasha McCandless is closing in on the prize after eight long years: she's months away from being made partner at a prestigious law firm. All she has to do is keep her head down and her billable hours up.

Then a plane operated by her client slams into the side of a mountain, killing everyone aboard. Sasha gears up to prepare a defense to the inevitable civil lawsuits.

She quickly realizes the crash was no accident: a developer has created an application that can control a commercial plane's onboard computer from a smartphone. Now it's for sale to the highest bidder.

Sasha joins forces with a federal air marshal who's investigating the crash. As they race to prevent another airline disaster, people close to the matter start turning up dead. Sasha must rely on both her legal skills and her Krav Maga training to stop the madman before he kills her.

Sasha will need to rely on her legal training and her Krav Maga training in equal measure to find and stop a madman before he strikes again.

About The Author:
Melissa F. Miller
USA TODAY Bestselling Author Melissa F. Miller was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Although life and love led her to Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and, ultimately, South Central Pennsylvania, she secretly still considers Pittsburgh home.

In college, she majored in English literature with concentrations in creative writing poetry and medieval literature and was STUNNED, upon graduation, to learn that there's not exactly a job market for such a degree. After working as an editor for several years, Melissa returned to school to earn a law degree. She was that annoying girl who loved class and always raised her hand. She's clerked for a federal judge, worked for major international law firms, and started a two-person law firm with her lawyer husband.

Now, powered by coffee, she writes crime fiction and homeschools her children. When she's not writing, and sometimes when she is, Melissa travels around the country in an RV with her husband, three kids, and their cat.
