Book Review In Safe Hands

In Safe Hands (Search and Rescue, #4)
Title: In Safe Hands

Author: Katie Ruggle

Stars: 5 out of 5

Review:

Katie Ruggle has written a really fun, serious and sweet romantic suspense series that will have each story tug at the readers heart strings.
From book one to book four the base story who killed the dead guy in the lake is tied into each book.
With that being said each book builds using different characters in the city until you find out the truth in this last story. Readers will enjoy reading what the other couples are up to and as always Lou Spark keep the book movie with her desire to figure out who killed the guy in the lake.
I have read the books out of order and yet I was still able to easier follow the story without getting lost.
Katie is able to create characters that have heart and soul. The romance builds over time creating a real life romance that will have readers hoping nothing happens to the main characters.
Daisy is surprisingly complex as well as and not your flat character. She has real fears that people deal with every day.
I found that I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next in the series. The author does tie up the mystery and it was perfect.

Synopsis:
In the remote Rocky Mountains, lives depend on the Search & Rescue brotherhood. But in a place this far off the map, trust is hard to come by and secrets can be murder...

It's all come down to this...

Daisy Little has lived in agoraphobic terror for over eight years. Trapped within a prison of her own making, she watches time pass through her bedroom window. Daisy knows she'll never be a part of the world...until the day she becomes the sole witness of a terrible crime that may finally tear the Search and Rescue brotherhood apart for good.

About The Author:

A fan of the old adage “write what you know”, Katie Ruggle lived in an off-grid, solar- and wind-powered house in the Rocky Mountains until her family lured her back to Minnesota. When she’s not writing, Katie rides horses, shoots guns (not while riding, although that would be awesome), cross-country skis (badly) and travels to warm places where she can scuba dive. A graduate of the Police Academy, Katie received her ice-rescue certification and can attest that the reservoirs in the Colorado mountains really are that cold. A fan of anything that makes her feel like a bad-ass, she has trained in Krav Maga, boxing and gymnastics.
