Title: In
Deep Shitake
Author: Patricia Mason
Review: Imogene
Turtle AKA Mo is a PI for Incredible Love- she uses herself as a honey pot to
catch the cheating husbands but her current assignments finds her rear end up.
Instead of swearing Mo uses food to keep her language clean. This mystery
romance has everything -a handsome movie star who is “over the hill,” -Russian
mafia leader who is being blackmail by a fictional character from a movie and -a
group of secondary characters who make this story full of laughs. The dialogue
is zany, witty and very fun along with a goofy mystery that keeps you wondering
what will happen next. Grammar errors
did pull me out if some scenes but I finished the book with a smile on my face.
Many times while reading the book I was laughing so hard my husband asked me
what I was laughing at. I read him some of the lines that replaced swearing.
"Son of Poached Egg or I'm going to have to place my hands on um,
asparagus to try to pull you out."
that was in only in the first few chapters.
Another fun pool read but warning people will look
at you strangely as you laugh out loud.
