Thanksgiving is this week. The kids have school off, its school conferences the first two days, so we decided to skip those this year and go away for the whole week this holiday. My parents have a few time-shares and so we are spending our week in the wilds of Wisconsin, enjoying the pool, exercise room, and quiet of not being home around the phone. I hope for a restful time with my family that I have missed out on since starting school again.
Getting all my books read has also been an issue with school and work, but the books are getting read and the reviews are getting posted. We do have the books longer now, time is precious and I hope everyone who has sent books for review realize that. And thank you to everyone who reads this blog and to the people who send us books to review. The last two years have flown by, but I have read so many things I never would have had it not been for this blog...and that is a good thing.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there. I hope you take the time to remember what is truly important this holiday season and count all the many blessing you have. I pray for our country and our leadership that they will make the best decisions for this great nation of ours. Please add you prays to mine. Times are tough, people are suffering, and yet we can all find something to be thankful for.
Lets pray and thank God for all the blessing we have and truly believe it. When you think and believe you are blessed, you truly are. Happy Thanksgiving 2012!!!
