The Unclaimed Baggage Center

On vacation to Atlanta we took a day trip up to Scottsboro Alabama and visited the Unclaimed Baggage Center. I have wanted to go since I first heard of it a few years ago. They buy all the lost luggage from the airlines that can’t be claimed. Just open that baby up and sell the treasures inside. Mostly that means electronics (hello, 8G Ipod for $55) and clothing, but they do have several book cases for lost books. Now people are typically buying the latest books for their travels and I scored some great paperbacks. Especially a couple that are not available here in the US yet; must have came over on a few international flights. At $4 a piece they were an incredible bargain.
