Review:  I am not in very good shape - I can jump with this rope for only a few minutes without wanting to pass out.  But it is easy to use and to adjust - I am short and my husband is tall and we both can use this rope - it only takes a second and it is set for you.

It swishes great in the air as you jump with this rope - it is thin, but it keeps going around and doesn't bend back on you.  It swings around like it is suppose to and boy it is a workout - this will be a good thing to do to get in shape for the summertime - sun and fun at the pool.

This is a jump rope that will last for year and year - give it a try - you only have a bit of you to lose and you don't like that bit anyway.  Here is a bit of what the company says about this jump rope - Using a jump rope is one of the most effective ways of exercise, both for serious athletes and regular work-out enthusiasts.  Sounds good to me!!!

Exercise is one thing we all participate and do on a regular basis, combined with the right diet and regimen we can live healthy long lives. I can remember in my youth one of the most popular activities was skipping/ jump rope and there was not a day that went by that a bunch of us out in the school yard would be out there at breaks and lunch getting our jump on. Back then it was for fun , and we never thought of it as exercising.  All these years and many skip ropes later I never thought to keep this activity in my daily routine until now, and I am excited to say I can skip as good now as I did back then at the age of 41…thanks to Naturalico.

Now I actually love this Cable jump rope, it has it’s very own storage bag for easy storage and for putting in your travel or gym bag…

It has a strong adjustable handles do it can be made to fit any height and size, face it your  work out equipment fitting you is just as important to get the proper use and work out.

Book Review - Her Sanctuary - Toni Anderson

Review:
This is the first book from Toni Anderson I have read and I will be honest I only read it because the book was free on Kindle. After reading the book I quickly bought her second book and plan on reading more by Toni Anderson in the future.  This book is a solid suspense novel with a slightly predictable ending your typical Happy Ever After. 

Elizabeth Ward is an FBI agent but when an op goes wrong she is now on the run from the mob because she feels the FBI can't protect her. She runs to a ranch in Montana in hopes of hiding from her past.  When she arrives at the Ranch she meets Nat Sullivan who is on the verge of losing his families ranch because of endless troubles from his sick mother to his boozing brother who can't seem to take care of his own daughter and a cow hand with a past.

The author wrote a multiple characters suspense novel where we see each characters perspective and where they are at all times until the end of the book where each characters finds themselves in a deadly showdown. Toni Anderson made sure that each and every character written had a reason and a purpose to be in the book and no one was there just to carry on though her next novels. 

The author tried to show Elizabeth as human and not the perfect FBI agent but she painted her as the best sharp shooter and yet Elizabeth seem to trip over her own two feet all the time. She would forget her gun when she was reaching for it which lets face it if the Mob is after me I would have my gun on me all the time.

 I like Elizabeth but her past made it hard to see how she could have a future with Nat. I did have a little trouble with Nat because he did a lot of whiny but at the same time his mother is sick, his brother is a drunk and he is about to loose his ranch so I guess he has rights to whiny. The showdown at the end of the book has the reader dealing with blood shed but nothing you can't handle and I love Nat's reaction to the sell of his ranch as well.

This book had its predictability but at the same time it was well written keeping me reading to the end of the book. I feel books that are predictable I can get past when they are well written like Toni Anderson's has done with Her Sanctuary. I plan to buy and read the next book in the series that will follow Josie and Marsh because that should be an interesting story. There is several sex scenes in this book between the different characters.

Shine Beautifully - review - I was sent a complimentary bottle of Organic Eye Serum by Adeline to review. The bottle is 0.5 oz, which is actually a pretty good size for an eye product. Most eye beauty products come in a very small tube or jar and are creams or gels. This was my first time using a serum for the eye area. The serum is a clear like lightweight gel, feels a bit oily, but was not sticky or thick at all. Being that I have used it daily and nightly for a few weeks, I still have more than half the bottle left. The serum comes with a pump top and you need about half a pump to apply serum to both eyes. The product felt like it penetrated nicely into my skin, but when I applied my moisturizer on afterwards the serum did ball up a few times when used it during the day time. When I applied it at the night, I didn’t have any issues. Maybe allowing the product to absorb into your skin overnight is what the trick to preventing it from balling up and flaking off. I didn’t notice too much difference with my dark circles being lighter, but I did notice my eye area looking nice and hydrated and less fine lines. The serum does have a cooling affect to it which works well for puffiness. It’s great for all skin types and can be used under makeup.

Book Review - The Price of Blood - Patricia Bracewell

Title:  The Price of Blood

Author:  Patricia Bracewell

Review:  I loved the 1st book in this series and was looking forward to reading this book - here is my review of Shadow on the Crown -  Well this book did not disappoint - it is a good book that continues the story of Emma -Queen of England and her family - her children and the King's children as they grow and the country comes under fire from the Danes.

I love her writing and the way she is bringing history to life - I read the disclaimer of sorts at the back of the book about what the author put in as her spin on things and what is actually known about that time in history.  Kings Queens Princes and Princesses - fighting for love- for honor - for life - for title and money - land and country- what a tale this author weaves for her readers - now I just have to wait for the final book to find out what happens - will it be happy?  I do not have a clue at this point.

I say who cares what really happen when the author makes such a great story around these characters and their lives - I am rooting for Emma even if things are going to get worse before they get better.  I love how Emma puts position above all else - how she is the Queen and she must be strong for England as their Queen - Intrigue - murder - death - birth and all while England wars with the Danes and the Vikings - who is going to come out on top and who will be beaten back?  Will Emma and her children be safe and will she ever have the love of her life or will that be another sacrifice for king and country?  Read this series to find out and if  you love historical novels this is one for you.

A beautifully written book and now I am stuck waiting for the next one to see what happens to Emma and the great country of England.

This book was sent from the publisher for an honest review - well I honestly love this series and wish the next one was out so I could read it today.

Review:  These mugs are so cute - 11 ounces so they will hole quite about of whatever you are drinking.  The Metal rack holds all 4 securely or you can just hang them or stack them if you wish.  The metal rack makes a nice change from the norm of stacking or hanging.  I love the colors - 

Again I love the colors - bright and contrasting to each other - they would fit into any decor pattern you have - also they would look great in an office next to the coffee maker - or for us in a coffee shop - my friend who owns a coffee shop has several of these sets for his business - 11 ounces instead of the normal 10 - his customers love them also.  I really love these mugs and find them so cute and functional at the same time - I expect to receive loads of comments and compliments on these adorable mugs.  They hold a great amount of liquid and are easy to hold - 

I think this would be great for your house or for a gift for someone who loves their mugs and coffee or tea.  I really do not think you can go wrong with these great mugs - the rack is a nice added bonus for keeping things clean and neat looking in your kitchen.

Not Just another - review -Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE my coffee!  I have to have a cup in the morning and a cup or two in the afternoon, during work and sometime a cup at night before I go to bed.  Yep, that's right....a cup before I go to bed!

My cupboard is full of coffee cups and it's beginning to be where there is no way I can collect or buy any more coffee cups, because I have no room to store them!  Well, that is not the case with this set of 4 mugs!  These mugs come in their own holding rack and can be placed on your counter top!  I love it!  This way, these colorful and bright mugs can be displayed, out in the open, without taking up much room.

Its the simple things reveiw  I received this box in the mail to review and was excited as soon as I opened it. How cute is this? It has a great space-saving design, it is colorful and bright,

lead-free, dishwasher and microwave safe and is made of Stoneware Ceramic. I quickly opened it up and snapped a few pictures before giving it a quick wash through the dishwasher cycle to verify it’s dishwasher safe status and it passed with flying colors. The stand is sturdy and well built and it functions perfectly whether full or missing a couple mugs.  I love the way the stand looks and I love the way it works. It’s simple to remove a mug from the stand to use and it’s just as easy to put one back in the stand. IMG_3074 The handle slides down through the gap on the side and the rest holds the mugs just right. As you can see the mugs are painted so cute with different pastel colors on their mug part and their handles and they all look very nice together. In this picture they were straight out of the box and still have the protective foam liners between them to avoid any chips while being shipped.  Mine all arrived in perfect condition.

Another thing that makes this work so well is that each one was made with a lip on the bottom that fits nicely inside the mug below it increasing it’s stability when stacked in the stand. Each of the four mugs  are 12 oz. and holds 11 oz.  of your preferred beverage.  I also love the size of these mugs. By the way have you ever wondered what the difference was between a cup and a mug? Well a “standard” cup is eight ounces while a mug is a type of cup that has a handle on the side and doesn’t need a saucer. Mugs are typically bigger than teacups and the reason why I prefer them. These mugs fit nicely in my hand with a diameter of 3 & 3/4 inches and a depth of 3 and 1/4 inches to the bottom inside and 31/2″ including the lip on the bottom.
