Review:
Hearts of the Missing is a police procedural story that isn't able to find the right flow making the story feel jerky and a little too messy. The story throws readers right in with very little back story that could cause readers to becomes lost at times with who does what and why.  The characters at times lack focus for being police which makes the story once again a little too stop and go feeling.
While the story its selves is interesting giving readers a in-depth look at fire-Sky customs as was as Native Americans traditions it gets lost in the stories inability to flow.

Review:
A great historical romance that was able to keep my interest from beginning to end. Our heroine is in love, from an early age, with our young, second son, of a Duke. Move forward 16 years and we find our second son has become the Duke after the death of his older brother and father which is a title he does not want. In addition, owing to his life style up to that point, he has alienated the heroine's family and extended family. Is it possible for the heroine and hero to rekindle their love and rejoin severed family relationships? Do miracles still happen? You will be rooting for this couple from the beginning to the end of this excellent story.

I have rated this book 4 stars and recommend it to you.

Book Review: Hard Night (11th Hour #3) by Jackie Ashenden

Review:
I am not sure if it is the authors writing style or the story but Hard Might just doesn't click together making it a somewhat hard and boring read.  As readers we always suspension of belief but at times even this story was too over the top and didn't make any since.
The story throws two people together and bam lots of sex. Which then leaves very little times for the story to evolve.
The author Jackie Adhendenn tried to create a sexual tension with a push pull reaction to things but in the end everything falls flat lacking the desired outcome.

Review:

Taming Fire has it moments where readers will find they enjoy the story and it has great potential but than fails to delivery many times.  The story goes from meeting to him moving and living the Happily Ever After in such a short spanned of pages that the story felt rushed when it could have been so much more.
Louise Pine is such a push over with very little backbone that it hard to root for her. Phoenix “Nix” Jones wants what his friends have but instead of taking the time to get to know her he just tells here everything he wants.  Yes she does the whole "You didn't ask you just told me." But it just lack any type of humor I think the author was going for.
The story felt rushed with very little thought other than write a story and get it out there.

I am originally from Kansas and love the area even though I am now located in Florida.

I started writing last year after plotting a story line in my head and having it slowly drive me insane. I am a HUGE reader and my tastes vary from MC to historical so there is a pretty broad range of books that I adore. 

Writing for me was not easy. I have some college under my belt but had never really taken any writing courses so the process started out with simply getting a story on paper. The plot is fast pace, characters are over the top, and spy vs evil the world is about to end is as bond as it comes.
This book has the perfect banter, sexual humor and mystery to keep readers of James bond, Romance and Mystery on their toes wanting and needing more from this author.
This is a perfect being to a series of book this readers can't wait to get her hands on.

Review:
The story starts off with a fighting, fire and mystery men saving the life of Mariana. Many times though the story the lead male Ty Morrison talks about how strong Mariana is and how she can change things for the better.  The only as the story kept going I felt as a reader I was missing something.  Never once did Ty explain why he felt that way.
The story is nothing more than a vigilant story with over the stop action, romance, sex and one over the top Alpha Male that didn't quite make since in this story.

Review:
Lori Foster Driven to Distraction is an interesting take on first impressions are not always the best.
Driven to Distraction is what readers come to expect from Lori Foster with her female leads feisty, somewhat lost, strong willed and seem to take their first impression and hold on to it until finally the male lead has them questioning everything they know.
Brodie is alpha male who protects those he respects. He is a little over the top as most of the men are in these stories.
Road to Love is the start of a new series with that in mind readers are introduced to endless amounts of characters. Characters pop off the pages while others fade into the background waiting for their story to be told.  Lori Foster is able to create a beautiful landscape that will have readers wanting more.
The characters comes to life in this action packed romance that has readers wondering what is so important that someone is will to kill another?

Book Review: Unspeakable (Deadly Secrets #4) by Elisabeth Naughton

Title: Unspeakable (Deadly Secrets #4)

Review:
This is the second in the Deadly Secret series I have read by Elisabeth Naughton.  This can be read as a stand alone novel but I think readers will enjoy it more if they read the entire series.
Rusty is a broken alpha male who is trying to right the wrongs while Harper is trying to find out who is killing young girls.  
The story is well paced until the sex starts and the story stalls out having readers flip though endless sex scenes that are "mind blowing" to find the story again.  When the story is found readers will be hooked once again but soon sex and romance takes over until the last 80% of the book where if you put it down for a second you will be wondering what is happening to the heroes of the story.

The ending is a little cheesy for my taste when it comes to romantic suspense stories.  With that being said if this is the end of the Deadly Secrets series the author put the perfect finishing touches.

Book Review: Bait (The Dangerous Distractions #2) by Samantha Keith

Review:
Samantha Keith creates a story that has potential but ends up needing more help than readers might be able to stand.
Questions
how man times can one woman get hit over the head, drunk, almost killed before someone steps in to help?
When reading this book please tell me I was not the only yelling at the Riley telling her to stop?
Why is Riley so hung up on a guy that she refuses his help over and over again.
Riley is suppose to me smart but she never once uses her head each for getting hit.  She refuses help, tries to save her friend by getting drunk with guys who will rape her.  On top of that the one person that scream crazed killer is the one person she refuses to knowledge.
It would be almost laughable if the author didn't put so much heart and soul into the story.
This is the story I would tell Romantic Suspense avoid this style of story. While it has promise it falls on every single romantic suspense cliche.  Its a fast summer read with you typical cast of characters and ends just as you imagine it would.

Book Review: Past Tense (Jack Reacher #23) by Lee Child

Title: Past Tense (Jack Reacher #23)

Review:
This is the first time l have read a Jack Reacher novel and it becomes readily apparent as to why he is widely followed by so many readers. It is an action adventure with the emphasis on action. Starting out on a cross country trip, from New England to southern California, he finds himself in his deceased father's birth town of record and decides to look up his ancestral roots. Meanwhile, an unknown cousin and business partners, begin a muderous adventure with a Canadian couple as the potential victims. As with all good action adventures the two eventually run together and it is up to our hero to  satisfactorily resolve this matter.

I very much enjoyed the book and have rated it 4.5 stars. I recommend it to anyone else who likes an action adventure with a solid, plain speaking, hero. I did not rate it five stars because I was left with a minimum of 9 bodies that were not accounted for to the local police departments. Small thing but still left me wondering how they were accounted for.

In this book Miss Bryony Grenville, the youngest and most mathematical and financial astute of the Grenville clan, meets her match in Maxwell Gideon, owner of the infamous gambling parlor, The Cloven Hoof. He wants to buy the building where his gambling parlor is located, but is unaware who the owner is, and that they are also his secret partner in the business. His secret partner becomes suspicious when he offers her double what was initially paid and determines to secretly examine the books to ensure all is above board. After being caught sparks begin to fly between this unlikely duo. Perhaps the hoyden has found her match in this untitled but true gentleman?

I have rated this book 4 stars.

Review:
As a text book this works as a book anyone would pick up and read I find it a little difficult at times. The author is well informed and gives the pros and cons to this form of medication.  They do not tell you to use it without making sure you as a consumer are well informed. The author talks about legal allegations, the political side effect and you can tell by the passion they want this to become more main stream with the guidance of professionals. 

Did she convince me? I am still on the fence due to lack of evidence on long term use on teens though adulthood with mental disorders.

The review will becomes more personal and opinionated from this point on. (Just a Warning)

I have seen the effect of Medical Marijuana though friends who couldn't find relief from though chemical medication. I have seen others who have gone though the process of getting their card and found it was more expensive than conventional medication and found no relief and worse side effects then chemical mediation.


I think everyone has the right to make the decision of their mental and physical health with the proper guide of medical professionals.  I think there are benefits to the use of Medically guided Marijuana when it is handled professionally and not handed out like gummy bears.  (Which has helped a friend of mine out with her ADHD and mood swings.)

I do see Marijuana as a gateway drug if not taken though the guidance of a medical professional that is able to help those needing relief from pain, anxiety, Adhd and more. 


Have I looked into using Medical Marijuana for my Anxiety and ADHD? Yes but the cost is more than all of my chemical medications and drs visit put together.

This was wonderful information and insight into a very misunderstood medical Marijuana.
