Book Review: Unforsaken (The Fallen Guardians #1) by Cassie Laelyn

Unforsaken (The Fallen Guardians, #1)
Title: Unforsaken (The Fallen Guardians #1)

Author: Cassie Laelyn

Stars: 3 1\2

Review:
I am not much of a Paranormal romance reader. I have found that each author has there own mythology that can create confusion for some readers.
Unforsaken starts off painstaking slow because the author wants to introduce all of her characters that will be though her series.
For paranormal romance readers this might be a new author.  The story stalls around the middle of the story but it picks up once again towards the end.
The author gives a unique take on the paranormal world that doesn't add up for this reader but others will love it.

About The Author:
Cassie Laelyn

Growing up in a military family, forever on the move, Cassie had a childhood filled with countless crazy adventures. Eventually, sunny Queensland stole her heart, and she now calls it home with her husband and their two BMX-crazy boys.

Borderline obsessed with the paranormal world, Cassie has a passion for crafting stories involving strong, otherworldly characters in need of redemption. She's a self-confessed book-a-holic and a sucker for a gut wrenching happily ever after.

When she isn't narrating imaginary characters, Cassie loves binging on TV shows, spending time at the beach, and curling up listening to the rain.
