As a review we are suppose to keep the review from being personally. This book is AMAZING! I am not sure where to start because it pulls you in and doesn't let go. I can promise readers will keep thinking about this book long after they have but it down.
Yes this book graphic in the since that you are reading about a Dr who deals with serial killers and the worst humanity has in the world. The crimes are sexual in nature and might turn readers away who have had this experience. I can no longer joke about a Banana as a mans body part like I used to after reading this book.
Brenda Novak brings to like a woman who is trying to help the victims of serial killers find justice and answers to why they kill. The protagonist Evelyn Talbot will stop at nothing to find the serial killer who took her life. She has spent her life researching trying to understand their reasoning to help prevent more killings. Bringing justice to those who have been killed or effected by the killers.
The research that went into this series is amazing. The authors ability to bring what should be a dark and depressing story is able to bring light when it is needed though love.
Brenda Novak stay true to her characters from the first book to the next. Evelyn Talbotis struggling to find normal and love after being almost killed by a serial killer. Evelyn Talbot isn't broken she is strong and still a the teenager trapped in time.
This book is a psychology thriller that will stay with readers long after they put down the book and eagerly await the next in the series.
Hello Again is well paced giving readers a chance to catch their breathe before the next body arrives. Reading as Evelyn Talbot struggles with what is right by the law and right by the victim will have readers questioning their own values. I started this book as something interesting to read and found myself asking the same questions Dr. Evelyn Talbot was asking herself. What is right?

“I caught my day-care provider drugging my children with cough syrup and Tylenol to get them to sleep while I was away,” Brenda says. “It was then that I decided that I needed to do something from home.”
However, writing was the last profession she expected to undertake. In fact, Brenda swears she didn’t have a creative bone in her body. In school, math and science were her best subjects, and when it came time to pick a major in college, she chose business.
Abandoning her academic scholarship to Brigham Young University at the age of 20 in order to get married and start a family, Brenda dabbled in commercial real estate, then became a loan officer.
“When I first got the idea to become a novelist, it took me five years to teach myself the craft and finish my first book,” Brenda admits. “I learned how to write by reading what others have written. The best advice for any would-be author: read, read, read….”
Brenda sold her first book, and the rest is history. Many of her novels have won or placed in contests such as the National Reader's Choice, the Bookseller's Best, the Write Touch, the Award of Excellence and the Beacon Award for Published Authors.
Brenda and her husband, Ted, live in Sacramento and are the proud parents of five children—three girls and two boys. She juggles her writing career with her children’s softball and soccer games, field trips, carpool runs and homework sessions.
When she’s not spending time with her family or writing, Brenda is usually working on her annual fundraiser for diabetes research—an on-line auction held at her website May 1st – May 31st. Her youngest son, Thad, has diabetes, and Brenda is determined to help him and others like him. She also enjoys traveling, watching sporting events and biking--she rides an amazing 20 miles every day!
