Review:

This book is part of the Blanche White mystery series. I find this series to be intriguing, well written and educational. It gives the reader a very different look at racism as seen by a black individual. While I am not black I find myself able to better understand where she is coming from as a writer. I would recommend this series to anyone who is seeking a great mystery with a  highly unusual and caring heroine.

I gave this book a five star rating and look forward to reading other books by this author.

For her activism Neely has received the Community Works Social Action Award for Leadership and Activism for Women's Rights and Economic Justice, and the Fighting for Women's Voices Award from the Coalition for Basic Human Needs.
