Review: The Brigadier's Runaway Bride by Erica Ridley is the fifth story in the Dukes of War regency-set historical romance series. It is a delightful story that has a seriously wounded returning war hero, who was thought to have been killed in action, and his pregnant loved one. They had only had premarital sex on one occasion which had left her in a delicate position. Love can and does conquer all.
I thought the story could have been a little longer but enjoyed it immensely as it was. It can easily be read in an afternoon.
I gave it a four star rating.
