Review: This is a great headlamp for any reason you might need a headlamp - the guarantee is the best - you have to read it to believe it - it is printed on the side of the box and there is a registration card in the box -
The guarantee states that you can throw it in the river and they will replace it - you can do this on purpose or by accident by the way - you can also decided to destroy it and they will replace it - but you have to have some of it left to turn in for the guarantee - so if you just lose it you are out of luck or if you are like my son and leave your glasses on the top of the car and then drive off - the warranty means nothing because you have nothing to give back so keep a small bit for the guarantee to work.
This light is bright and the headlamp takes 3 AAA batteries and the head part is very comfortable to wear and easy to adjust - the red lights on the side are also bright and they blink if needed - this makes you more visible and yet less at the same time so I guess it is up to you what you want this light to do for you.
My son is active in hiking - caving - etc and will love this light - we played with it - tried it out and are now sending it to him -
This is a great overall headlamp that can be used for camping - walking - hiking - caving - etc - many many uses - we used it to walk home after the 4th of July fireworks and it was helpful since we walked through the park and it was dark with loads of fallen branched and dips in the grass.
Also a great little flashlight is included with a key ring - and it contains batteries and is ready to use once you remove the cardboard on the top battery.
