It was better then a highball glass and I would compare it to the silver cup.
I am not a fast drinker and yet using this copper beauty allowed me to be as slow as I like due to the fact that it kept the contents colder longer then a glass cup would have..
Supposedly copper glasses will leach a little bit of copper out when used and that is supposed to have a medicinal effect. I guess that depends on how much you believe in the "natural" health movement. I did not notice any flavor change, but then again I would think it would depend on the person and their palate.
Drinking out of this cup is an experience due to the copper and the beauty of it - as a mint julep drinker I am pleased with this cup and will get another few as I can afford them so that my whole party can have the same enjoyable experience I had with this, lovely copper chalice, my sons words.
