The cord is strong and black - also the buckle is easy to put on and take off but it will not pop off - just hook this to your bag if you do not want to wear this bracelet or hang it on your bag so it is always ready to go with you wherever you are going to go -
Outside is great and yet it can be dangerous if you are not prepared - my son has made a few off these but this one looks much more professional then his - a great item for anyone and for any go-bag - 72 hour kits and just for being outside on a day hike or more.
