A permanent food truck that is right next to a butcher called The Pig - see video below - well we stopped in the pouring rain a midst thunder and lighting to try this place. It was not easy to find- it is located in the East Bottoms but it is worth the search. We had read a few reviews on the place and decided to try it ourselves. 5 stars all the way - we ordered 3 different sandwiches and shared and WOW ----WOW ---what a flavor combination that explodes in your mouth - so YUMMY - Go there and don't miss out!!!!
The sandwiches come in boxes if you order the combo which I would the potato chips are also handmade and delicious and it is 8 dollars for the combo - I am gluten free and so I told them I wanted the Cox in the box with no bread of any kind so they put mine in a deli container on a bed of arugula and the first bite I knew we had made the right choice even with the rain - we sat in their outdoor section with a roof on picnic tables and we were not alone even in the awful rain. The food is so good -people come even in that weather - We stopped in the Pig and bought some brats of all different unique flavors, along with some burgers of different flavor, bacon pate and apple chamomile butter. All our food so YUMMY----I was in visiting my sister and this is the place I will return to on the next trip to Kansas City.
