Review: This is not a fast moving story, but it’s not
half bad. It starts out in Missouri as a
group of families are getting ready to move West. There is tension between the settlers and the
wagon train captain and hands. A wedding
that ….well I don’t want to spoil it for you.
It moves fast enough to keep you reading and turning the pages. This is a Christian book and has scriptures
and songs read and eluded to. No sex or
really much violence that wouldn’t happen on a wagon train crossing the
country. The people are varied and
interesting to get to know. This book
keeps you focused on only a few characters, but I am sure we will get to know
many more and she finishes up the series.
This book is not a bad way to spend an afternoon, or two.
