Review: I liked this book, but it wasn't moving fast
enough to leave much of an ending. As I
got to the end I was a bit disappointed.
Spoiler*** No ending, just
hanging, is there going to be another book?
I think this is a
great book, but the ending was too abrupt and even with another book I wanted
more of an ending to feel some closure with this book. I will read the next one when it comes out. I have no interest in Angels, but this book
gave me a new look on the authors idea of history and what has happened in the world with power and
those who hold it. A good way to spend
an afternoon or two, pick it up

The book was
interesting and fast paced. The past
story from WWII brought the story to life, and the angels who are called to
kill humans were freaky. The cave with
the Watchers imprisoned was easy to see, the authors descriptions were very
good. Gabriella's death was not
expected, but maybe, the bad guy was nasty.
The bad angel and his family were really bad, he killed people for
nothing more than the thrill.
The book is good, but
I want an end, if there are more books great, if not I really think I wasted my
time. Just found out that this is number
one, good!

Author Biography: Trussoni graduated from University of
Wisconsin–Madison summa cum laude with a BA in History and English (1996) and
the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where she received an MFA in Fiction Writing
(2002). Her work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Telegraph
Magazine, The New York Times Book Review and Tin House, among other
publications.
Falling Through the
Earth: A Memoir was chosen by The New York Times as one of the Ten Best Books
of 2006. Falling Through the Earth was recipient of the Michener-Copernicus
Society of America Award, the Elle Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Award for April
