Book Review - Legacy - C.V. Hunt

Legacy (Endlessly, #2)
Title:      Legacy (Endlessly #2)

Author:  C.V. Hunt

Review:  I read Endlessly and found the story engaging with a great flow.  The author sent this for review and it has the same great flow as the first.  I found the dread building as the story progressed and of course the beginning of the book set the pace and I knew it would not have a happy ending.  Of course there will be another in the series to help keep the story progressing and hope for a happier ending in the next.  I didn’t care for some of the harsher language with some of the characters, but I had to remind myself that they are a rough crew.

This book sets the pace for the next one letting you know who to trust and who not to.  The center of a trilogy is never a good place to be, it moves the story along but cannot have a real conclusion.  Think Empire Strikes Back, not my favorite, but necessary to move the story forward.

If you read Endlessly or are looking to read a good paranormal series pick it up along with this one and I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Synopsis:  After defeating the dreaded Quatre, dragon-vampire, Ashley, and her lover, the vampire, Verloren, take a well-deserved rest in the Pacific Northwest. Ashley wants to learn about her newfound powers, and both of these soul mates want to chart their uncertain future. What will their role be in this world of misfits? And what is the meaning of disturbing premonitions seen only by Verloren?
Living in a secret compound with other outsiders, Ashley discovers what Verloren already knows: when given their freedom some misfits will do the right thing, but others are still dedicated to evil.
C.V. Hunt
Author Biography: C.V. Hunt has always been interested in all things horror, paranormal, or just plain bizarre. This has flowed into her writing. Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, and Zombies.... do you need more? If it's not human, then she is interested. If it could be from earth, other worlds, other realms, or a parallel universe, then it could be in her stories.

Forget your preconceived ideas about supernatural creatures when you pick up her writing, because every creature's stereotype is made to be broken. First, break all the rules, that is where we start. Because anything is possible in the land of C.V. Hunt.

C.V. Hunt lives in Ohio with her husband. She enjoys reading, writing, painting, listening to music and catching horror flicks.
