Book Review: Wicked Attraction (The Protector #2) by Megan Hart

Wicked Attraction (The Protector, #2)
Title: Wicked Attraction (The Protector #2)

Author: Megan Hart

Stars: 3 stars

Review:
This isn't a stand alone novel and the cliffhanger will pull some readers in and leaving others uninterested.
The story doesn't seem to flow well many times leave readers wondering if the are missing a part of the story in editing or if the author did it on purpose.
Many times I flipped though the pages finding the information repetitive or boring.  Megan Hart also tries hard to make the story very political but ends up leaving readers wondering which side of the debt the author is on.  Ewan and Nina have so much push and pull and emotions that do not make any since when they end up in bed it isn't a shock and really isn't interesting because it was a given.
Wicked Attraction lacks forces, leaving readers lost and at time bored.

Book Review: Survive the Night (Rocky Mountain K9 Unit #3) by Katie Ruggle

Survive the Night (Rocky Mountain K9 Unit, #3)
Title: Survive the Night (Rocky Mountain K9 Unit #3

Author: Katie Ruggle

Stars: 4 out of 5 stars

Review:
Survive The Night isn't nearly as cutie or feisty like the first two in this new series but it fits right in. This time readers will see a little more of a back story to the mystery man that is able to help women disappear and end up in a small town in Colorado where the police and people of the small mountain town turn to help scared out of place women.
I don't want to give to much away but I can tell you readers are going dying for the next in the series.

This one feels more like a link between the first two and the next in the series which I can't wait for. While it is a sweet over the top action romance it still has the fun Katie Ruggle fans will love.

A fan of the old adage “write what you know”, Katie Ruggle lived in an off-grid, solar- and wind-powered house in the Rocky Mountains until her family lured her back to Minnesota. When she’s not writing, Katie rides horses, shoots guns (not while riding, although that would be awesome), cross-country skis (badly) and travels to warm places where she can scuba dive. A graduate of the Police Academy, Katie received her ice-rescue certification and can attest that the reservoirs in the Colorado mountains really are that cold. A fan of anything that makes her feel like a bad-ass, she has trained in Krav Maga, boxing and gymnastics.

Book Review The Schemer (Harbor City #3 ) By Avery Flynn

The Schemer (Harbor City, #3)
Title: The Schemer (Harbor City #3 )

Author: Avery Flynn

Stars: 5 out of 5

Review:
Avery Flynn has a wonderful ability to write witty banter without slowing down the story or going to with the banter that the story suffers. Readers will find themselves laughing out loud and sighing with the cute and fun scenes Avery Flynn created. Being a romance comedy there is sex and lots of sex.
The story is a fun cute ride that will have readers smiling and fanning themselves many times over.

Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled for the advance copy.

Synopsis:
Tyler Jacobson has a plan for everything—except how to handle his completely annoying, utterly frustrating, and totally sexy upstairs neighbor. He couldn't care less if Everly Ribinski thinks he's equally irritating—until he discovers she's the only one who can help him land a business deal that will finally make him feel like he's more than just a guy from the wrong side of the tracks.

Color him shocked when Everly refuses to help, insisting she should have run him over in the parking garage when she had the chance. Harsh. But possibly deserved. Tyler may have spent the last few months reveling in annoying the fiery gallery owner with a dark past, but he's got secret leverage she can't refuse.

If only one meeting didn't turn into a fake date that turned into more. Way more. Like naked and hot as hell more.

The last thing either of them wants is to catch feelings for someone who is so obviously not their type. Good thing that will never happen. Right?

About The Author:
Avery Flynn
Hey there! Do you love books? I totally love books. Obviously, we are supposed to be friends. :) I read anything I can get my hands on (with the exception of military history - ugh, total snoozefest) but my reader heart belongs to romance. I love it all from the cozy mystery to the steaming-hot, my-eReader-just-melted erotic romance. I’ve yet to find a romance sub-genre I don’t like and I hope I never do. The books I write fall into the sassy, snarky, fan-yourself-it’s-so-hot contemporary and action adventure romance category. If you’re looking for a lot of angst, I’m not your girl. But if what you want is a good time with a page-turning romance full of sexy as sin, smart-ass alpha heroes and kickass heroines who know how to stand on their own two feet and knock the bad guys off theirs, then I am your girl. The promise I make all my readers is that when you get done with one of my books, you’ll not only have the happily-ever-after sigh, you’ll be grinning your face off too.

Book Review: Final Siege (Love Over Duty #2) by Scarlett Cole

Final Siege (Love Over Duty, #2)
Title: Final Siege (Love Over Duty #2)

Author: Scarlett Cole

Stars: 3 out of 5

Review
I hate to write this but this is another romantic suspense military romance story that fall in the its ok but I don't think I will read it again.
The characters were not well developed and many times it felt like the author was writing a story around sex scenes.
I loved the idea of a report and former seal but this story has been done many times over and much better.
The female lead Delaney did what I hate and did the opposite of everything her hero\love interest asked her not to do many times. Leaving this reader wanting to yell at my ebook.
There was some editing that could clean up a little confusion but all in all it was a so so Romantic Suspense book.
